Work package 1

Impact Framework & Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL)

IIED Europe is responsible for the area of work that develops and implements tools for monitoring and evaluation to track the impact of Pathways2Resilience and the regions' progress toward resilience.

Work package 2

Mobilising Regions and Communities

ERRIN, which is responsible for this work package, drives the engagement with regions and communities in their climate resilience journey. Additionally, they also lead and design the process around the Expression of Interest questionnaire set out to identify interested participants for the two Pathways2Resilience calls.

Work package 3

Sub-grant Calls Design and Operation

Manages project calls to select 100 regions, coordinates their funding, and monitors their performance throughout the program.

Work package 4

Support Services on enabling conditions to accelerate transformative change

Builds regional capacity to absorb knowledge and resources, accelerating their transition toward climate resilience.

Work package 5

Support Services to bridge the Adaptation Finance Gap

Provides tools and strategies to help regions develop finance mobilization plans to support their resilience efforts.

Work package 6

Support Services on KCS to design climate resilience pathways and innovation agendas.

Led by Deltares, this work package focuses on the development of technical guidance and tools to help regions assess and adapt to current and future climate risks.

Work package 7

Capacity building and exchanges along Regional Resilience Journeys

Leading this package is Climate-KIC, which works on strengthening regional capacities to design resilience pathways and innovation agendas while generating long-term knowledge exchange mechanisms.

Work package 8

Communication, Dissemination & Exploitation

LGI Sustainable Innovation leads on this work package, which supports communication campaigns to mobilize regions and shares experiences and learnings. This work package is dedicated to communicating and disseminating the activities and results generated in Pathways2Resilience, as well as to promoting a dialogue with key stakeholders and exploiting the outcomes. These activities serve all other work packages.

Work package 9

Project Management

This work package, which is led by LGI Sustainable Innovation, ensures a sound, efficient, and transparent coordination and management of Pathways2Resilience, while ensuring high-quality results, the right functioning of work packages and the governing bodies and a clear reporting of the project outcomes, with the final aim of achieving the project and WPs goals and objectives.
